PRESS RELEASE:
At 8:35 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, KCMO police were called to the 9300 block of Bales in regard to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a male shooting victim in the parking lot with no signs of life. Witnesses say a silver-colored SUV fled the scene after the shooting. The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Edgeric Beasley of Kansas City, Mo.
There are no suspects in custody, and detectives ask anyone with information to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
